ब्लॉग लिहितांना...
माझ्या ब्लॉगसाठी मी इंडीब्लॉगर या संस्थळाचे सदस्यत्व घेतले आहे. त्या संस्थळावर चर्चिलेल्या विषयांमधे "सेंन्सॉरशिप ऑन ब्लॉग्ज" या नावाच्या शीर्षकाखाली एका व्यक्तीने विषय मांडला होता, की "काही वेळा ब्लॉगलेखक ब्लॉग लिहितात, पण त्यांना गैरसोयीचे असणारे किंवा त्यांच्या विरोधात लिहिलेले अभिप्राय (टिप्पण्या) ते डिलीट करतात (गाळून टाकतात) किंवा प्रकाशित न करता अडवून धरतात. ब्लॉगवर कोणते अभिप्राय ठेवायचे हे ठरवण्याचा अधिकार लेखकाचा असतो. पण जेव्हा वाचक त्यांचा वेळ खर्च करून या वैचारिक चर्चेत सहभागी होऊन, लेखकाच्या दृष्टीकोनापेक्षा वेगळा किंवा विरोधी अभिप्राय देतात, तेव्हा लेखक तो अभिप्राय दाबून ठेवतो, त्यावेळी तो वाचकांना काय किंमत देतो? हे नैतिक आहे का? अखेरीस ब्लॉग हे वैचारिक आदानप्रदानाचे मुक्त व्यासपीठ आहे."
या चर्चेत आलेले काही मुद्दे असे होते, "काही वेळा स्पॅम किंवा असभ्य भाषेतील लैंगिकतायुक्त अभिप्राय येतात, किंवा त्या विषयाला धरून नसलेले असंबद्ध अभिप्राय येतात, तेव्हा ते डिलीट करण्याबाबत कोणीच आक्षेप घेणार नाही. त्याशिवाय कधीकधी लेखकावर वैयक्तिक हल्ला करणारे अभिप्राय येतात, ते डिलीट करण्याचा लेखकाला अधिकार आहेच." पण कधीकधी यातले कोणतेही कारण नसतांनाही वाचकांचे अभिप्राय डिलीट केले जातात या मुख्य मुद्द्यावर तिथे फ़ारशी चर्चा झालेली दिसली नाही. म्हणून मी माझे याबद्दलचे मत ब्लॉगवर मांडायचे ठरवले.
मला असे वाटते, की एखाद्या गोष्टीबद्दल प्रत्येकाचा दृष्टीकोन वेगळा असू शकतो. त्यामुळे लेखकाने लिहिलेल्या लिखाणाशी काहीजण सहमत असू शकतील, किंवा असहमतही असू शकतील, किंवा फ़क्त काही मुद्द्यांबद्दल ते लेखकाशी सहमत असू शकतील, हे लेखकाने विसरू नये. जो अभिप्राय हा लेखकावर वैयक्तिक हल्ला करणारा नाही किंवा समाजस्वास्थ्याला हानी पोहोचवणारा नाही, तो अभिप्राय लेखकाच्या विरूद्ध मताचा असला, गैरसोयीचा वाटला तरी तो लेखकाने न कचरता प्रकाशित करावा.
मात्र कोणता अभिप्राय हा लेखकावर वैयक्तिक हल्ला करणारा आहे, किंवा समाजस्वास्थ्याला हानी पोहोचवणारा आहे हे लेखकाने स्वतःच्या सद्सद्विवेकबुद्धीशी प्रामाणिक राहूनच ठरवायचे असते. ही संपूर्णतया लेखकाची जबाबदारी असते. आणि जेव्हा लेखक ही जबाबदारी पार पाडण्यात अपयशी ठरतो, तेव्हा आपण याला बेजबाबदार ब्लॉगिंग असे म्हणू शकतो.

While writing blog...
I have taken membership of website Indiblogger for my blog. On that website's forum, a topic was discussed by a person under the heading of "Censorship on Blogs", that "Sometimes blog writers do write a blog, but they either delete or block the comments which are inconvenient to them, or the comments opposed to their stance. It's the writers right to determine which comments should be put on blog. Does the writer value the readers, when readers spend their time in this thoughtful discussion, and give comments having different or opposite viewpoint than the writer, and when writer blocks it? Is it ethical? After all blog is a platform for free exchange of thoughts and viewpoints."

These are some points in that discussion, that "No one will take objection to delete spam comments or indecent sex-friendly comments which are sometimes received. Besides the writer has right to delete the comments making personal attacks on that writer." But the main point was not discussed there, that sometimes comments are deleted when there is no such reason, so I decided to give my opinion about it on blog.
What I am feeling is, every person may have different viewpoint about any thing. So the writer must not have to forget that maybe some of them will be agree or be disagree with the writing of the writer, or maybe they will be agree with some points only in that writing. The writer should have to publish the comment without flinching, though it is of opposite opinion, seems inconvenient as log as that comment is not making personal attack on writer, or do not damage the health of society.
But the writer should have to determine whether the comment is a personal attack or it is damaging the health of society, while keeping honesty to his conscience. It's the sole responsiblity of witer. And when the writer fails in his responsibilty, then we can say it as a irresponsible bloging.
